The Cookout: Greece

Two lamb shoulders and one leg, pre-rub and smoke.

Here are the shoulders, post-rub and smoke.

A Greek wheat berry salad.

A finished plate, the sauce is a minted tzatziki and the bread is from Sunrise Bakery.

Iced beer is good.

Frozen yogurt with lemon zest and local honey.

Greek wheat berry salad



red onion

kalamata olives

feta cheese

fresh lemon juice

olive oil

wheat berries

Cook wheat berries in water to desired tenderness and let cool.  Add remaining ingredients and season to taste.
